The Brookfield East High School Friends of Fine Arts is a parent led organization committed to the support of the Fine Arts in our school. We do this through our primary fundraiser of the year, the Brookfield East High School Friends of Fine Arts Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair, held the second Sunday in November. All proceeds from the Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair go directly to the school's fine arts programs. For information on being an Exhibitor for the Brookfield East High School Friends of Fine Arts craft fair, please see Exhibitor Information.
The Friends of Fine Arts supports our high school's band, orchestra, choir, drama, forensics, and visual arts. We encourage students to deepen their involvement in the arts by offering partial tuition reimbursement for summer camps related to the arts, and for honors groups. Some of our Brookfield East students are members of MYSO or Main Street, and have had half their fees reimbursed by the Friends of Fine Arts. Other students have attended music camps at UW-Green Bay, UW-Whitewater, and UW-Madison; after qualifying for tuition reimbursement, Friends of Fine Arts can reimburse for half the cost. For more information on the Brookfield East High School Friends of Fine Arts Tuition Reimbursement policy, please click here.
As a volunteer organization, we always welcome additional parent involvement. If you are interested in supporting the fine arts at Brookfield East, we encourage you to join us by volunteering! We are in need of committee members and volunteers for the craft fair in November, and additional parents to serve on the board, and to work with teachers to find creative ways for the Brookfield East High School Friends of Fine Arts to enrich their departments. To volunteer, or for questions on volunteering year round, please contact us.
